The annual Stanthorpe JC Cup non-Tab meeting scheduled for Saturday 20 October 2018 is set to proceed following the all-clear after a QRIC Stewards track inspection earlier today.

Whilst there has been rainfall in the Stanthorpe region in recent days, the Armstrong Park racecourse has not received any rainfall in the past four (4) days with QRIC Stewards rating the track as a Soft 5 (which could improve with the forecast fine weather).

Club President Neil Brunckhorst is confident a large crowd will be in attendance for the five (5) race program which features the running of the K. & A. Building Stanthorpe Cup (1400m) of $12,000 – which is also a part of the RQ Country Cups Challenge Series which culminates with a Final at the Brisbane RC on Saturday 1 December.
