RACE TWO

BURNING AMBITION (1) took on a 2^nd division qualifier over the AP mile 4 starts back and from the pocket trail was within 3m of the winner in a slick 1.53.2 mile. Collared in the closing stages at her next start after setting the pace, she has been close her past 2. This looks hers to take from the gate.

PROJECTILE (4) is in good touch with a top-3 in 4 of his past 5 outings. Forced to do it tough in the breeze 2 starts back he was rewarded when able to finish over the top last start from a 2^nd line gate to claim a half-neck victory. He might need to work at some stage but will be in for the fight.

TOPNOTCH MACH (10) has taken on the Marburg Goldstrike Series at his past 2 starts and his run in the final had merit when striking trouble. Only beaten a lip at AP 4 start back he can charge late.

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (9) has returned from a beak in good order and after an all the way win has been runner-up at her next 2. Better suited when in front she can chime in late here to podium.

RACE THREE

ONE WISE MAN (8) drops back to claiming company and despite the 2^nd line gate can look to throw down a challenge here. Leading them up 2 starts back he was grabbed in the latter stages by the smart LINCOLN ROAD and last start was just too far back in transit. This looks his chance to score.

EPIRUS BOY (1) has been freshened since his last outing when locked away on the pegs and trying to make ground in a strongly run race dictated from the front. Chiming in late to grab the bronze here 2 starts back, he should get a good trip from the gate and with the options can go close.

RORY MACH (9) pushed on to find the front from gate 6 here 2 starts back in a role that he is not accustomed to yet he fought on well for 2^nd. If the speed is solid, look for him charging home.

KARLOO MAC (5) led them up from gate 1 last start when looking to lead throughout over the 2040m trip. Running even sections he faded in the stretch. He can be in the money here.

RACE FOUR

RIVERLEIGH WILLIAM (7) will need some factors in his favour yet if he is able to get space with track to work with, he will be sprinting hard in the closing stages. He grabbed the silver last start after being locked away in the run and 4 back claimed a win from the pocket trail. Just needs the gap.

GOODTIME STRIDE (4) started from gate 11 over the 2138m tri pat AP on Sat night and after securing the right cart home was able to arrive on the line to score in the sloppy conditions. That followed a luckless effort here over the sprint trip and this is within reach.

OSCARS GLORY (1) wasn’t suited over the 2280m trip last start and wilted after having an early shot for the front. He can hustle early to protect the pegs and with options is in the mix.

WEASEL (3) has been in the money at his past 2 starts, the latest when buried in the run and probing for gaps in the stretch. Settling handy from this gate he can chime into the exotics.

RACE FIVE

SPONDOOLEY (9) has placed at his past 3 in succession and is honing in on a victory. Angled to the pegs from the 2^nd line last start he was charging home to get within 4m of the winner and the start prior he was forced to breeze. There looks to be some good tempo and he can charge home late.

MO JARNEY (2) was working home from the running line when holding 3^rd behind ONLY IN ROME 2 starts back and then last start was too far back in the pack after landing a 2^nd line gate. With good early speed he can look to take a shot and finding the pegs can look to control.

TAXI METER (10) rolled forward from gate 5 last start and finding the front was able to dictate and cruise home to a comfortable 7m victory. He might look to get forward early and is in the mix.

MATRON JUJON (8) started from gate 10 last start and was working home wide off the track. Freshened since that outing, she will be looking for a cart home and has exotic hopes.

RACE SIX

MADAMOISELLE JUJON (9) has faced the starter on just 3 occasions, yet has been in the money at each. A debut winner over the mile at AP from the walk-up, she was grabbed on the line when leading every step bar the last over this trip. Despite the tricky alley she looks set to overcome it.

MUCHO GUAPA (1) has been freshened since her last appearance after her 3 runs back this term were a shade disappointing. Doing some early work last start she wilted late after her 1^st 2 runs back from gate 1 saw her mid-field in each. From the ace she can look to turn her fortunes around.
 
TORQUE IS MY GIRL (4) showed some early speed to find the pegs prior to releasing for the trail 2 starts back when 3^rd to LINCOLNS GIRL. Luckless last start behind tiring runners, this is within reach.

LITTLE ARROWS (6) has been racing well without much reward and lands the tough gate here. Snagged back from gate 5 last start she found the line in nice order and can chime in late in this.

RACE SEVEN

IM SUGAR COATED (2) lines up for her Qld debut for Melissa Gillies and has not been sighted since a mid-field finish as an odds-on pop at Tamworth back on Feb 7. Her run from gate 6 around the tight Maitland track 2 starts back had merit and she strikes a winnable contest 1^st up here.

CANDYFLOSS (9) made the most of conditions last start when spearing straight to the front from gate 2 and dictating in scoring a comfortable  victory. Sharing the win with a dead-heat here 5 starts back, with the right run home, she can make her presence felt.

PRESLEYBEGOOD (7) will need some luck in transit and be relying on some factors to go her way. Too far back chasing in the Fillies Triad Final last start, she was only beaten a lip here 2 starts back.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (1) wasn’t suited last start when forced to work in the breeze and she faded out after the tough trip. With the options from the gate she can return a sharper effort here.

RACE EIGHT

CHEYENNE AUTUMN (1) looked to take them all the way over the 2040m trip here 4 starts back and after being controlled was only grabbed in the latter stages. Not suited in her 3 runs since that outing, she will appreciate the good alley and sprint trip and can look to capitalise.

DATSGOOD (2) went down as a short-priced fav here 2 starts back and then last start struck trouble in the run that ended her chances. A handy mare when right, she has struggled to get it in order in recent outings and with the good gate here can look to turn it around.

GUTS (6) worked home nicely last start from the 2^nd line to be 1.5m from the winner MICKEE CULLEN. The start prior he looked to lead throughout and despite the gate can close out here.

BUKTHSYSTEM (9) found the line in good order to finish with the silver over the sprint trip 2 starts back. Closing out well last start, with the right cart home he can be around the money here.

RACE ONE

IMA TOP TYCOON (9) was taken back from gate 6 over the mile 3 starts back and was attacking the line strongly to get within 7m of the winner. Coming up with another gate 6, this time at Redcliffe he again charged home and was rewarded last start with a tough win. He can overcome the gate here.

NO CONFESSION (1) has some ordinary numbers in his past few, however there can be excuses for each including last start where he was retired from the race with a gear issue. Possessing good speed off the arm, he can capitalise on the good alley and with the absence of bad luck can feature.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (4) is never far from the action and last start from this same alley was closing out in good order after settling in the 1x2. Only beaten 2m here the start prior he has podium hopes.
 
THE GOLDEN CROSS (7) looked to take them all the way last start from gate 1 when setting a strong tempo over the sprint trip. Grabbed in the closing stages he should get a cosy trip here to offer late.
