RACE TWO

TRUE STEPPER (5) will take benefit from her latest outing when returning from a let-up, sent around at Redcliffe over the 2040m trip for just the 2^nd time in her career. Wide off the track over the latter stages, it was a tidy effort behind OLIVER WINKLE. There looks to be some early to mid-race pressure generated in this which gives her the chance from this alley to make a play for supremacy.

ROYAL OBSESSION (8) was sent forward and obliged to do it the tough way last start over this trip and was trying to fight late when fading to be 9m in arrears of the winner. Luckless from a wide gate the start prior, he has the 2^nd line options here and working into the running line early will see him throw down the challenge in this.

GASMONKEY (6) was not suited last start when not having the cleanest run-in transit and then forced to snag back to find position. A solid tempo was his undoing when racing first over 2 runs back at the trip and if able to work with less pressure, he can feature.

JAGGERS SWAGGER (2) gives away plenty of experience to his rivals here with just the 5 career starts to his name. Fitter following 2 runs back from a spell, the latest when buried in the run from inside the 2^nd line, he is a podium hope.

RACE THREE

RISKY BUZINESS (3) was sent forward from gate 6 here 2 runs back and was able to get across to take up the lamp lighting duties. Trying to fight them off, he was nailed on the wire, beaten a pimple up the passing lane. Game in defeat last start when forced to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way, he can take control and look to dictate.

GUTS (10) is chasing down a hat-trick of victories after wins over the sprint trip at Redcliffe and then here on Monday. Taking them all the way from gate 2 at The Triangle 2 runs back, he landed gate 9 here and with the right trail in transit had the closing power to finish over the top of them. With a similar trip, he can again be challenging.

SHEZ GOT BLING (5) eased from gate 5 over the Redcliffe 2040m trip 2 runs back before making a spirited bid when able to get within a head of victory. Buried away at her next start, she can stay out of the early speed and be working home into the minors.

CYCLONE KELLY (7) features in a barn switch to join the Shannon Price team. A Redcliffe winner 3 runs back when sent to the front from gate 4 and keeping them chasing, it has not gone to plan at his past 2. He can be shaper here.

RACE FOUR

FAIRIESDELIGHT (7) was 1^st up in Qld when making an error that earned the ODM embargo, however she still found the lien in good order. Again, closing strongly at her next run behind the in-form SAVING MAJOR PERCY, she lost all chance last start with a pair of errors. In this line-up, if the manners arrive, so can she.

BONNIES A ROCKIN (10) will strip fitter from her latest outing when returning to start her 3YO term. A last start winner as a 2YO when leading throughout, she was shut down for the season before returning here over the mile. Looking to lead throughout, she was able to control the tempo, but her condition faded as OUR BOY ROY arrived to claim victory by a head. The gate dents her hopes.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (8) will need an element of luck from this gate, but if the scenarios are on his side, he can be making a closing play. Attacking hard in the closing stages here 2 runs back when only a half-neck away, he can be probing.

SIR BULSKI (4) is yet to land a breakthrough here at The Creek after 26 attempts and while he may find this once again out of reach, he does have podium chances. Only a half-neck from WOODLANDS WONDER 2 runs back, he found the 2138m out of reach last start. Back to the mile suits.

RACE FIVE

SQUARE DEALER (6) trialled in nice order in readiness for his Qld debut and that trial was franked with a first up victory. Settling in the pocket trail, he finished over the top of them in a smart mile. Sent out in red figures at his next run off the back of the 1^st up victory, he could not cope from the breeze and wilted. The wider gate stings, but if he can limit the early burn, he can atone.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (5) has been racing in good touch of recent times and was able to overcome gate 6 here on Monday when charging home to score. Eased in the early stages, a pedestrian 2^nd panel looked to favour those at the front, yet he had enough ammunition to win the closing battle. Runner-up to STINGER LINDENNY 2 runs back, he can throw it down again here.

BLISSFULDAY (1) overcame the 2^nd line at Redcliffe 2 runs back to finish over the top of them in a smart win. Tackling a qualifier last start, he was asked to race first over as SLINGSHOT dictated and he did not shirk the task in holding on for a gritty 3^rd. He can burrow through early and has options to feature.

SAVING MAJOR PERCY (7) is yet to miss the board since arriving in Qld with a pair of minors complementing a pair of victories. Wide of the track last start at the 2138m, he was 5m from the winner. The gate is not ideal, but he has podium hopes once again.

RACE SIX

THE FORTUNATE SON (5) will take benefit from his return last week in a qualifier where he was 1^st up without a public trial. Off the 2^nd line, he was back in the pack with the leader controlling to take them all the way. At his best when high rolling at the pointy end, he will relish the return to the front line and can look to take control of proceedings.

STINGER LINDENNY (4) is in search of a hat-trick of victories after leading throughout in claiming wins at the mile and middle distance. Firing out from gate 3 to take control last start, he was allowed a cheap opener which gave him plenty of venom to close it out. The amount of early pressure will be critical to his challenging chances.

BOMBADIER JUJON (7) faces the tough gate here 3^rd up from a spell after a handy last start 3^rd when using the passing lane to grab the bronze behind NIMAH FRANCO. A solid tempo will aid his chances here and he can be eating into the deficit in the stretch.

ICE PICK ANGIE (9) broke through to claim a mares qualifier 2 runs back when sent to the breeze from gate 7 and proving too strong, defeating subsequent winner MISS GOLD FORTUNE. Too far back last start, she can look to chime in late here.

RACE ONE

THE REAPER (3) was pushing in off the 30m boundary looking to deliver the hat-trick when sent to the breeze over this trip here on Tuesday. Working hard in the run he was no match for the dominant winner KRAZE that posted a 16m winning margin. Back to the 10m is preferable for this contest and he can look to bounce back.

ALADDIN SANE (7) was from the 10m tape last start and after spearing from the outside fence down to the pegs in the first 30m then lost his way and lost all chance with an error. He comes at a risk as his manners are chancy at best, but when he trots clean, he has the talent to challenge strongly like his 2^nd 2 runs back in the McNeil Final.

AVEROSS DON (5) found the pocket trail from the 10m tape here 2 starts back and was chasing to be beaten roughly the impost behind ONE NIGHT OUT. Within 2m of THE REAPER last start who he meets 10m better off this time around, gives him a chance to join in.

GREAT FANTASY (2) made the best start possible to his Qld career when taking them all the way under mobile conditions at the 2138m trip- 1^st up since November. Fitter for that run, he was a scratching at this meeting last week, but if not a major issue, will be right in the firing line from the front tape.
