Rich with history, filled with fun and excitement and poised for the future – this is country racing in Mareeba. The Mareeba Turf Club has a proud and long history of country throughbred racing. Mareeba Turf Club has 4 main race days throughout the year and each race meet is vital to ensure sustainablity for local trainers, owners, jockeys and horses. A 5-race program is held at every meet and we are looking forward to our next race meet on Saturday 1 June 2019 when the Mareeba Turf Club will host Round 7 of the TAB Battle of Bush Race Series
The regions best horses, trainers and jockeys descend on Mareeba for every race meet. There is something for everyone at the Mareeba races, from the serious punter the race day fashionista – everyone is welcome.
