Slow to begin. When asked about performance, Rdr advised obliged to pressure horse in order to hold position throughout, indicating horse was also inclined to race greenly and hang out throughout-added horse did not finish the race off as anticipated.

COT: To be ridden further forward; led. Shifted in on jumping & bumped. Rdr reported instructed to settle in a more-forward position, & after beginning well he had to make some use of mnt in early stages to obtain a position in the lead near the 1000m. Std mnt travelled comfortably through mid stages but when placed under pressure passing 400m it did not respond to riding & weakened. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Tnr reported a subsequent vet exam, including an ECG & endoscopic exam, revealed no significant findings & he will trial the gelding before racing again.
