When questioned regarding the performance, rdr stated he was instructed to ride the mare in a forward position, and after beginning well was able to assume the lead on the rail passing the 700m. Rdr added despite being pressured during the middle stages, the mare travelled satisfactorily, but when placed under full pressure from the 400m did not respond, and ran to the line in a disappointing manner.
