A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be displaying an upper respiratory noise. Trainer was advised the mare would require a veterinary clearance inclusive of an endoscopic examination prior to racing again.

When quest re tactics adopted specifically ride in early and middle stages, where led the race whilst running noticeably fast sectionals, Rdr said instructed to be positive & to not take a hold as gelding has a tendency not to finish its races off. Tnr confirmed instructs adding gelding was having 1st race on a sand & may not have backed up from its race at Monto on 29/3. Rdr advised erred in not making an attempt to settle gelding in middle stages after obtaining lead, which may have allowed gelding to finish the race off better than it did. A post race vet exam revealed no abs.
