2 Burrum Slipper – Dragged down leaving the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor soreness in the lumbar area and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.
4 Shining Blue – Severely checked leaving the first turn losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
