Due to storm activity the start of race 7 was delayed, with all subsequent races being pushed back one time slot with the start time of Race 10 being 9:49pm. Stewards inspected the track and deemed it safe to continue racing. |

2. Princess Darcy – Leaving the 1st turn was inconvenienced, into the back turn looked awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock. A 14 day stand down was imposed. |

8. Zipping Slash – Near the finish turned its head inwards momentary easing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer W Warner regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Warner, stewards deemed Zipping Slash had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Zipping Slash was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial. |
