General: Due to storm activity the start of race 6 was delayed, with all subsequent races moved back three time slots with the start time of Race 12 being 11:17pm. Stewards inspected the track and deemed it safe to continue racing.

Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 6 520m

 

No racing incidents of concern.

 

 

 

Race 2 - LADBROKES BLACK BOOK MIXED 5/6 710m

 

1. Stowaway – Beaten $1.45 favourite. Entering the home straight on the 1st occasion improved across heels losing its momentum. Through the turn entering the back straight was inconvenienced. Into the back turn was crowded for room and checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

 

Race 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY OPEN 710m

 

3. Ace’s Chance – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor abrasion to its nearside hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.

 

7. Hara’s Harper – Leaving the home straight on the 1st occasion commenced to weaken, through the home turn pulled up failing to finish the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside shoulder . A 21 day stand down period was imposed

1. Brunswick Bullet – Into the back turn was galloped on falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside shoulder. A 28 day stand down was imposed. Trainer B Timbs was advised the greyhound must successfully complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

 

 

Race 9 - SKY RACING  MIXED 4/5 520m

 

7. Comedy Act - A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
