Race 1 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN (1) 331m

8 Infrared Power – Checked in the back straight.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 2 - QLDGREYS.COM MAIDEN (2) 331m

8 Jilliby Shelly - Proved difficult to box at the start of the race. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 106(2) advised trainer representative H.Bock that the greyhound will now be boxed first for future race starts.

Race 3 - LADBROKES ODDS SURGE GRADE 6 (1) 331m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 4 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE GRADE 6 (2) 331m

5 Ding Ding Harrow – Beaten favourite.  Checked soon after the start and entering the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 5 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (1) 331m

1 Cyndie’s Swift – Commenced to give ground in the back straight appearing injured.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4 She’s Athletic - Late scratching at 4:50pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 6 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 4 331m

1 Cake Is Yummy – Turned its head to the outside runner in the home straight.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer S.Neary regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 7 - LADBROKES RACING CLUB GRADE 5 (2) 331m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 8 - MARBURG PUB FFA 331m

1 Comical Bill – Made contact with the rail shortly after the start.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

6 Comical Cyndie - Proved difficult to box at the start of the race. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 106(2) advised trainer representative W.Elson that the greyhound will now be boxed first for future race starts.

Race 9 - GORSKI TIPPERS YATALA GRADE 5 (3) 331m

3 Another Photo – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 10 - LADBROKES COMMUNITIES GRADE 5 (4) 331m

4 Miss Shylock – Checked in the back straight and entering the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 11 – KEDRON WAVELL SERVICES CLUB MA5 (1) 331m

6 Contract – Severely checked and fell soon after the start taking no further competitive part in the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and the greyhound was euthanised on humane grounds.

Race 12 - WALLOON HOTEL MA5 (2) 331m

4 Bye Bye Taipan – Turned its head towards the outside runner making muzzle contact through the first turn.  Stewards spoke to trainer G.Keep regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
