Race 1 - LADBROKES MATES MODE POTS MAIDEN 520m

 

1 Specifically – Beaten favourite. Through the home straight on the first occasion was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Stewards spoke to trainer C Brydon regarding the greyhound’s performance. Steward’s noted Mr Brydon’s comments and took no further action.

 

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 6 520m

 

4 Reacher – Through the first turn was severely checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside foreleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

 

7 Fages – Through the first turn was severely checked. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside shoulder and nearside foreleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

 

 

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NMW 520m

 

6 Weblec Tiara – Entering the home straight on the first occasion was checked. Gave ground through the home straight on the second occasion. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside pin. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 21 days.

 

Race 4 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MIXED 4/5 520m

 

2 Howdy Doody – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

 

Race 5 - LADBROKES BET TICKER MIXED 5/6 600m

 

5 Somerset Jesse – Late scratching at 10:12am due to illness. Under the provisions of GAR 76(2) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days and will require a veterinary certificate prior to returning to racing.

 

Race 6 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 600m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 7 - QLDGREYS.COM MA5 520m

 

3 Tayla’s Lass – Late scratching at 8:46pm when the greyhound underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising and swelling to the offside hindleg. Under the provisions of GAR92(2) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 10 days.

 

Race 8 - GORSKI ENGINEERING 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 520m

 

Weblec Whistler – Late scratching at 6:01pm when the greyhound was found to have an injury to the nearside hip during kennelling. Under the provisions of GAR92(2) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 14 days.

 

Race 9 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE GRADE 5 (1) 395m $

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 10 - RHINO FINANCE GRADE 5 (2) 395m

 

6 Destini Falcon – Through the home straight appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.
