6 Batman Returns – Became unbalanced passing the 300m, gave ground from the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside shoulder injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

2 Jeckle – Faltered in its action and shifted out abruptly soon after the start and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed near side back muscle injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

4 Rattlesnake Lad – Faltered in its action and gave ground approaching the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside shoulder injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
6 Jilliby Shaun – Eased and turned its head outwards towards another runner approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Kevin Kemp regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
