Race 1 - LADBROKES MATES MODE HOSTED POTS MAIDEN (1) 431m

9 Scorching Demon – Entering the back straight was checked. Through the home turn gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside back muscle. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 28 days, and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

Race 2 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN (2) 431m

4 Millie Beach – Through the first turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 3 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MAIDEN (3) 431m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 4 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND NOVICE (1) 431m

2 Katie Cuddles – Through the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 5 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS NOVICE (2) 431m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 6 - THE GOLDEN CHASE SPRINT SEMI-FINAL 1 OPEN 431m

1 Resilient – Through the first turn contacted the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination no significant injury.

All clear was delayed to afford the Stewards the opportunity to view the films in relation to a bird near the home turn, after doing so Stewards were comfortable that no greyhound was effected and all clear was given on the judges numbers.

Race 7 - THE GOLDEN CHASE SPRINT SEMI-FINAL 2 OPEN 431m

3 Hold The Gavel – Late scratching at 12:26pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have a nearside metacarpal injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 9 - THE GOLDEN CHASE SPRINT SEMI-FINAL 4 OPEN 431m

Race 10 - LADBROKES PUNTER ASSIST MIXED 4/5 431m

6 Twisted Yew – Through the first turn severely checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a sand toe injury. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 5 days.

9 Special Werina – Through the first turn was checked and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

10 Take Over Haze – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 5 days.

Race 11 - GJ WALSH & CO GRADE 5 431m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 12 -RED DOG MECHANIX MA5 431m  

9 Comical Travis – Through the home turn appeared awkward in its action and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.
