Race 1 - LIFE MEMBERS FINAL MAIDEN 407m

Tanned And Taut – Checked severely off heels and fell racing off the back straight and failed to complete the course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed multiple complete fractures to the right ulna and radius. The greyhound was euthanised on humane grounds.

Get ‘Em Bud – Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Abraxas Bale – Checked around the first turn and then shifted out severely checking Modelo and Blue Art. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound around the first turn. After viewing the available replays, acting on their own observations and considering submissions from trainer T Jones, stewards were satisfied the greyhound had failed to pursue with due commitment around the first turn by turning its head and shifting outwards noticeably checking other runners. As a second offence under GAR124(1) the greyhound was stood down for 28 days at all tracks and until the completion of a satisfactory stewards trial.

Ruxton Flame – Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 7 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL ROCKHAMPTON CUP (G2) HEAT 6 OPEN 510m

Gretzky – Severely checked and fell on the first turn before regaining footing and completing the course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 8 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL ROCKHAMPTON CUP (G2) HEAT 7 OPEN 510m

Validate – Checked in the back straight. Checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Magistrate – Checked and dragged down from behind in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
