4 Dinosaur Bones – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. R. Essery regarding greyhounds’ action at box rise. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.

7 Pierre D’arcy – Clipped on the heels rounding the first turn. Shortened stride rounding the home turn and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the hip support, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.
8 Super Pickle – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Swing On By – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
8 Arka Chief – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left foreleg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to future nominations being accepted. |
