Race 1 - TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 1 MAIDEN 380m  

 

6 Shelby’s Boy – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to a left hind toe, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

 

 

Race 2 - TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 2 MAIDEN 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 3 - TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 3 MAIDEN 380m

Race 4 - DREW WOOLER GRADE 6 (1) 380m

 

3 Martini Beach – Contacted the running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Hara’s Meryl – Contacted the running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

Race 8 - WEE WIN KENNEL 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 380m

 

1 Express Pack – Dragged down by another runner rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right back muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.  

 

 

Race 9 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES PATHWAYS HEAT 1 5PW 380m

Race 10 -ROSS WILKIE FISHING PATHWAYS HEAT 2 5PW 380m  

 

1 Jimmy Joseph – Checked exiting the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to a left fore toe, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

 

3 Nobu Lad – Lost contact with the field rounding the first turn. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right back muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

 

7 Max Gambles – Bumped and checked rounding the first turn, lost ground and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right back muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.
