DISLOCATOR (Jky S McGoven) dwelt at the start.

ISABELLA’S IMPULSE (App K Yoneyana) jumped awkwardly making heavy contact with FOURTH OF JULY (App S Arnold) which lost ground.

Shortly after the start MAKTIG PANIS VITAE (App S Wiseman) rolled in making contact with MEDWIN (App D McWhinney)

ISABELLA’S IMPULSE (App K Yoneyama) race wide through out.

Race 2 LOCAL TRADERS CLASS1 HCP 1000Mtrs

Due to the inclement weather Stewards advised all patrons, Bookmakers and Connection that all races will be bought forward by 10minutes. This announcement was made over the Public Address System.

LITTLE ZACHARY (App A Smith) shifted out soon after the start making contact with STRICTLY FLAMENCO (App D McWhinney)

MAKKA PAKKA (Jky S Bayliss) raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race

As placed riders were about to weigh in the generator used to power this complex lost power. Stewards acting under Rule AR 142 gave correct weight as it was impracticable to weigh in without power. The problem with the generator was quickly restored to allow the meeting to continue with Stewards requesting a set of scales as a back-up in case of future problems.

The winner STICCTLY FLAMENCO was swabbed.

Race 3 BURNETT COUNTRY CERTIFIERS CLASS 4 HCP 1200MTRS

ORMOND ROAD (Jky K Pedron) dipped on jumping away and was tightened between GOLD WAR (Jky S McGoven) and DEXTRUS (App D McWhinney) which shifted in

Mr MAGORIUM (Jky R Hall) raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race.

The winner OLD FLAME was swabbed.

An inspection of the track was conducted with Stewards down grading the track to slow 7 due to the continuing rain. This announcement was made over the public address system.

Race 4 ERGON ENEGY CLASS B HCP 1400Mtrs

(1) BRAVE THE BOSS (2) MANEROO CRUISE (3) GO ON GREG (4) MINNEAPOLIS

LITTLE ROSIE was declared a late scratching at 11-00AM after the Club Secretary received a telephone call from connections that due to float failure they would be unable to attend. This announcement was made over the public address system.

Stewards declared both CHROMED and OWIE a late scratching at 3-10PM when both horses refused to load into the barriers. Deductions of 44cent for a win and 34cents for a place was announced on correct with all monies invested on CHROMED and OWIE be refunded. Trainer of CHROMED Mr G Wilson was advised the gelding is barred until he gained a further barrier certificate. The Trainer of OWIE Mr D Deans was advised the gelding is barred until he gained a further barrier certificate.

GO ON GREG (App D McWhinney) jumped awkwardly making contact with MINNEAPOLIS (Jky S Bayliss)

MANEROO CRUISE (Jky I Coombes) raced wide in the middle and late stages of the race.

The winner BRAVE THE BOSS was swabbed.

Race 5 NEWCREST MT RAWDON OPEN HCP 1400Mtrs

(1) BARRAMUNDI (2) CANE CHAMPAGNE (3) FIRE HAZARD (4) FUHMIDABLE

On returning to scale Jky R Hall the ride of second placed horse CANE CHAMPAGNE lodged a protest against App D McWhinney the rider of first past the post BARRAMUNDI claiming interference at the start and over the concluding stage of the race. Stewards after hearing evidence from all parties and viewing the relevant video of each point in the protest dismissed the objection. Stewards deemed at the start both horses jumped away awkwardly making heavy contact with CANE CHAMPAGNE over reacting and throwing its head up losing ground. Over the concluding stage of the race both rides shifted out seeking better going with no contact between either horses.

The winner BARRAMUNDI was swabbed.
