FASHIONS FROM AFAR 2024

Racing Queensland (RQ) has launched "Fashions from afar" for country racegoers off the track for the fourth consecutive year. RQ's Fashion from afar competition will celebrate the age-old tradition of trackside style and celebrate modern millinery trends and head-to-toe style dressing and grooming.

RQ is holding a Fashions from Afar Final on Saturday, 29 June 2024 – Tattersall’s Tiara Race Day hosted by Tattersall’s Racing Club at Eagle Farm Racecourse.

To be eligible to compete in the Final, the nominee must:

1. be at least 16 years of age; and
2. first win a fashion on the field’s competition (or similar) held by a race club (Participating Club) during their race meeting as part of the Battle of the Bush Series (Regional Qualifier).

The Final will consist of the following prizes (Final Prize):

• Female Fashions from Afar Final Winner - $2500
• Female Fashions from Afar Final Runner Up - $1000
• Male Fashions from Afar Final Winner - $2500
• Male Fashions from Afar Final Runner Up - $1000
