Racing Queensland advises today’s Sunshine Coast Turf Club race meeting has been abandoned.
The abandonment decision has been made after 61mm of rain in the past 24 hours has rendered the racing surface unsuitable for racing on.
RQ will now consider potential replacement programming opportunities for the races lost, whilst factoring in the prospective wet weather forecast in South East Queensland over the next 48 hours.
