Racing Queensland wishes to extend its condolences to the family of Maurice Stafford who passed away yesterday in Rockhampton.
Mr Stafford was a leading jockey in Rockhampton and right across the state. He later had a successful career as a trainer in both Rockhampton and Brisbane.
A funeral service for Mr Stafford will be held on Thursday 21 June at St Josephs Cathedral in William St Rockhampton at 10:30am followed by the members building at Callaghan Park.
