The Racing Queensland Education and Welfare Department continues to offer support to apprentice jockey Elyce Smith who was injured after being dislodged from her mount prior to Race 1 at Thangool on Saturday.
Elyce experienced some internal injuries, fractures and concussion, and is recovering in Rockhampton Hospital.
Racing Queensland will continue to offer support to Elyce and her family throughout her recovery.
