RACE TWO

MONTANA CHIEF (5) released the front over the AP mile last start and then couldn’t reel in the leader and winner REGAL NIGHTSHADE, finishing best of the chasers. Not suited 2 starts back from a wide gate at Tamworth, with even luck in transit, he can finish best to take the prize here.

MINI MIRACLE (1) wll take benefit from her latest start when 1^st up from a break she made an error in the run that ended her chances yet she was able to reset and chase hard to finish 4^th. Banished to the trials she returns following a nice-hit out to earn her return and she can make the most of gate 1.

GUILTY PLEASURE (7) has placed in his past 4 starts with the latest a nice effort when tracking home in good order when 2m from the winner. With a cosy trip on offer here she can chime in TRAIN WRECK (6) made a mess of the start last time which ended his chances. Doing plenty of work in the run the start prior at AP when beaten a head, he can do the heavy lifting again and feature.

RACE THREE

JACKS AT THE BEACH (5) found the front from gate 2 over the 2040m trip here last start when grabbed right on the line by BOB GAGE. The start prior he took on a 2^nd division qualifier when working in the run from gate 6. This looks much easier than recent starts and he can overcome the gate.

OSCARS GLORY (7) will need some luck in transit to find some open space when required. A tough 2^nd here 3 starts back over the sprint trip has been followed with a successive gates when wide off the 2^nd line. With the right run in transit he can be finishing hard.

FALCON VISTA (3) found the line in good order here 4 starts back and at his next 3 outings has strike wide gates in each. He can look to fire the 1^st shot here and can give some cheek if finding the pegs.
GOTTA GO RALPHIE (4) was a winner here 4 starts back when finishing best from back in the pack to score. He has been well below his best at his next 3 but gets his chance here to bounce back with some minor money.

RACE FOUR

MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (2) lands his best gate at his past 4 starts since returning for his 3YO term. He found the pocket trail in the Tamworth Star Maker 2 starts back when holding on to 4^th and within 4m of the winner. Back to the front after a last start 2^nd line at AP, he can look to take control and dictate here.

ACE MONTANA (1) broke his maiden tag here 3 starts back when making the most of gate 1 over the sprint trip and leading throughout as red figure fav. Taking on a Marburg to Albion series at his past 2 starts, he was down the line in the final and with a cosy trip here can look to take the closing shot.

BETTOR BECAUSE (7) has started 3 times this prep and shown gradual improvement at each outing. She did some work in the run last start and although looking to be buried in the run can take the short-cuts home.

OUR DOUG (6) found the front off gate 3 here 2 starts back and leading them up was only grabbed in the closing strides. His run from this same gate last start was full of merit and he has place claims.

RACE FIVE

BIG BEAT (1) doesn’t have the best of numbers at his past few starts but there are excuses. Last start he struck trouble in the run and did well to be only 10m from the winner and 2 starts back he was working home wide off the track from gate 10. The improved gate see him get his chance to capitalise.

BONNIE JUJON (3) took 2^nd when looking to take them all the way last start from gate 1 over the 2040m trip and was fighting into the stretch when swooped on late. This looks no harder than recent assignments where she has been performing well and with a good gate she can challenge.

FORTES IN FIDES (6) was looking for the hat-trick last start when landing gate 5 he ran home in good order behind SHEZA GALVINATOR. His win 2 starts back was a good effort and he can go close again.

ULTIMATE AD (8) made the most of returning to the main draw and despite getting back in the pack from gate 3 was able to finish over the top for a nice victory. With even luck he is in the mix.

RACE SIX

IM TOOT (1) should appreciate getting back to the triangle off the front line and despite his numbers looking poor, he looks to get his chance. He found them a bit tough 2 starts back when setting a solid tempo over the AP mile and last start was too far back in the run. From the gate he can dictate.

BOB GAGE (7) didn’t have much luck here 2 starts back over the 2280m trip and was probing for runs that didn’t arrive in time. He made the most of his chances last week after a cosy run behind the leader to sprint home over the top. With a similar trip he will be looking to take the closing shot.

MISSINMEMATE (8) worked home in good order last start in a tougher race at AP and the start prior was a long way back. With the option to look for a peg-run on offer, he can take the short way home.

SPLASH OF GOLD (3) looked to lead throughout last start over the 2040m trip and was trying to fight them off when 3m from the winner and holding on for 3^rd. Another minor is on offer here.

RACE SEVEN

MACHEASY (10) faces a tricky gate here but with some good early speed should get his chance to either work into the race in the middle stages or power home late. Last start over the AP mile he hit the line well to grab 3^rd and the start prior chased hard behind PARISIAN ROCKSTAR. This is within reach.

GOLDEN YEAR (9) found the pegs and was closing hard when only 1.5m from the winner FARRAHFOWLER 3 starts back and was only 4m away at his next outing. He took on a 2^nd division qualifier last start in a strong mile and wasn’t disgraced. With the right run home he can feature.

LYNNSANITY (5) was better than the return suggests last start when snagged back from gate 7 and running into dead-ends when looking to work home. He isn’t far away from a victory and is in the mix.

ALPHA STYX (2) was forced to do it the tough way last start and was fighting all the way when 5m from the winner CROWNING GLORY. That followed a solid effort from the 2^nd line and he will be thereabouts.

RACE ONE

RORY MACH (6) should find this easier than recent outings where he has been around the money in higher grade claiming events. 2 starts back he chased gamely behind COMPLY OR DIE which followed a strong finish when 9m to DIVAS DELIGHT. Despite the wide gate, the small field will help.

TIWANAKU (5) took on the claiming grade last start when sent forward from gate 6 and forced to cut the breeze in the early stages. A winner of a 2^nd division qualifier 3 starts back when leading all the way from gate 1, that followed a late charging 2^nd and with that versatility can feature in this.

ITS ALL GO (2) was a winner over the 2040m trip here 3 stars back when leading all the way from gate 1. Not suited from gate 5 last start he can look to make amends with the improved gate here.
