BEEF CITY STARZZZ (4) had been building towards a win after placings in 3 of his previous 4 starts, heading into his latest outing. Sent forward from this same gate, he proved too strong after racing tough in the breeze to score a 5m victory. Striking trouble the start prior, he can go back-to-back.
 
PEGGY STARDUST (2) led them up over the sprint trip 3 starts back when collared in the closing strides. Looking to atone for that at her next start, she again set the tempo when leading at all bar the most important point, beaten a head. Buried away last start, she is in the fight from this gate.

PERFECT FEELING (1) has the options and over the longer trip, should be able to secure an easy run in transit. Not suited in the breeze 2 starts back, he has a podium chance with the easy run.

WEASEL (9) should appreciate this type of race despite landing the tough gate. Fighting hard in the breeze last start when not too far off them, he can be thereabouts against this line-up.

RACE THREE

JINGLES BROMAC (5) will take some further benefit from his latest start when 3^rd up off a spell and not having any luck in the run. Looking for position in the early stages, he retreated and was working home in good order to be 7m in arrears. Hitting the line in good order 2 starts back for the silver, he can arrive here.

CANNAN (8) has been in the money at 5 of his past 6 appearances, including a win 2 starts back when finishing best from a 2^nd line gate to score a narrow victory in a blanket finish, Eased back from gate 5 last start, he was again closing strongly when within 2m of the winner and following through early can challenge.

CHROMOZONE (2) found her race here on Sunday when pressing forward to take control over the sprint trip and then fight them off in a slogging finish. The rise in trip is the query here.

WECANONLYHOPE (7) secured the perfect trip in the pocket trail here 2 starts back and when asked to present was able to arrive for the prize. Needing some luck here, she will be probing for the gaps.

RACE FOUR

SEA HAWKE (6) was forced to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way last start when sent to the breeze from gate 4. In for the fight he was game in defeat behind ARBIT MAJOR. The start prior he didn’t have much luck when ending up a long way back in a qualifier. The gate hurts, but he might have their measure in this.

HESLUVABLE (2) retreated from gate 5 at Tamworth last start and ended up too far back to make an impact. His run here 3 starts back from gate 5 when working wide off the track in the closing stages was a nice effort when 3m in arrears of the winner and from an improved gate is in the mix.

SUKI DAYO (5) shoots for a hat-trick of victories after successive wins over the sprint trip. A long way back in the pack last start, she sprinted hard in the stretch to arrive and will be swooping late in this.

KAY NORA SHANNON (1) didn’t have the smoothest run in transit last start when finishing down the line. Her past 4 starts have all been from the 2^nd line and with the improved gate can be sharper.

RACE FIVE

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (6) won’t be afforded many favours from the wide gate at her return to the track as she launches her 4YO term. Last seen back in July when 7m in arrears of the handy ITZ MY GENERATION, she has warmed up with 2 trials when not asked for much. With a great record here on the triangle, she can return in style.

MONTANA EXPRESS (10) found the right conditions last start and working home wide off the track arrived to land a smart win. That followed a mid-field finish when 6m from the winner STUDLEIGH WILL and his effort 3 back was full of merit. Starting to put it together, look for him charging.

KWASII (1) eased back from gate 5 last start and with an even tempo set in front, was charging home in the closing stages to share the spoils in a dead-heat victory. With early speed, he is in the mix.

IMA REGAL JET (4) set the tempo in front last start at Tamworth when nabbed in the closing strides to be 3m in arrears of the winner SHAZAM SHANNON. With even luck in transit, he won’t be far away.

GETINANHANGON (1) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2^nd up from a spell and for the new barn. Locked away from inside the 2^nd line when resuming, he wasn’t too far away and then 2^nd up worked hard in the run from gate 6. With the gate in this line-up, he gets his chance.

JEWEL OF PEAK (5) is another that will be fitter following her latest outing and comes into this race 3^rd up. Starting from gate 9 in both runs back this prep, she attacked the line strongly last start in the closing stages to get within a half-neck of the winner HEADWIN. With even luck, she is a threat here.

GHOST GUM (4) was rewarded for some consistent efforts here 3 starts back when finding the front from gate 3 in cruising home to a comfortable 11m victory. With the right run he won’t be far away.

BUKTHSYSTEM (7) hasn’t been too far away in his 3 starts following a victory over this trip 4 starts back. With an economical tri on the cards from this gate, he can be chiming in along the lane.

RACE SEVEN

JUST JOSHIN (7) shoots for the hat-trick after wins at the 2040m and then last start at the 1780m. Both wins came from the 2^nd line when packing too many guns in the closing stages, the latest when running a smart closing half to arrive. With factors in his favour he can be ready to strike when the gaps present.

TAKITIMU EXPRESS (8) does his best work when locked away and asked to offer in the closing stages and form this gate, he looks set to achieve those conditions. His past couple he hasn’t really closed out when wider on the track and looking for the soft trip on the pegs can be looking to offer late.

DONNY JONES (1) hasn’t been too far away of late and his last start saw him hit the line in nice style in the closing stages when 3m from COOL SCOOTER. Only beaten a neck the start prior, he can utilise his early speed and is right in the fight here.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2) settled back in the pack over this trip 2 starts back and then sent 3-wide a long way out continued to find and arrived for a smart win. Not suited in the breeze last start, limiting the burn he has claims here.

RACE EIGHT

RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (7) took on a Perseverance at AP last start from gate 5 when settling towards the rear in the small field after easing back early. With a solid tempo early, he didn’t really work into the contest. He looks set to secure a run against the poles where he does his best work and can be looking to make the closing shot a winner.
 
TRUNKEY DIGGER (10) is knocking on the door and has now been runner-up at her past 4 in succession. From gate 5 last start she was sent forward to face the breeze and was in for the fight when 3m from the winner JUST JOSHIN. The gate hurts but she can be looking to issue the challenge.

JILLIBY GIZMO (1) was sent forward from gate 4 last start to find the front over the AP 2138m. With a strong tempo throughout, he fought hard to only be a head away. From this gate he will fight.

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (6) secured a perfect trio in behind the leader and winner KLEENED OUT last start when taking on a qualifier and chased to be 2m in arrears. The gate stings, but he can chime in.

RACE ONE

SARIE MARAIS (2) has been runner-up in both runs since returning from a break and looks to strike the perfect conditions to break the maiden status here. Setting the tempo when resuming, she was nabbed in the closing strides by a race-fit BRIGHTON PRINCE and last start was beaten by a tricky gate. In this line-up from the gate, she looks set for the prize.

FOUR FOR FOUR (3) looks the main threat if there is one as she also searches for a maiden breaking win. Placed in 2 starts this term, she was wide off the track in the closing stages over the AP Mile last start when 7m from the winner FLO RYDA. Limiting the early burn will be key to her challenge chances.
 
OCEANSIDE (6) doesn’t have any favours from the carpark, banished to the outside for an early error last start. Not suited over the 2138m from a wide gate 2 starts back, he has podium claims here.

JUST ROMAN (8) has started form gate 6 at both his past 2 outings and should enjoy the right trail in the early stages here. Well beaten at both runs since returning, look for a sharper effort in this.
