Roy Chillemi knows Tyzone better than most. The FNQ trainer unearthed the horse as a yearling, before sending him to Brisbane after 10 dominant wins up north.
At the weekend, 'the Tolga Tornado' swooped late to claim the Group 1 Stradbroke, and we caught up with Roy to talk about the first time he laid eyes on a young Tyzone and the emotions of seeing him claim the state's top honour.
