Irish-born Stephen Wilson made his name up north forming a dominant partnership with Stradbroke winner Tyzone.

Now a dual-licensed jockey and trainer, he will saddle up and ride the ex-Chris Waller gelding Tunero in tomorrow’s Cairns Cup at the Cairns Jockey Club.

We caught up with Stephen as the duo look to go one better on their unlucky runner-up finish in the Townsville Cup two weeks ago.
