Following a RQ track inspection, the annual Camooweal JC Cup non-TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday, August 28, 2021 has been rescheduled to be conducted by the Mount Isa RC.
Despite extensive efforts by the Camooweal JC in preparing for the race meeting, the racetrack has been deemed unsuitable to conduct racing on the previous date.
Due to the rescheduling to the Mount Isa RC, the racing program (incl. prizemoney) will remain as scheduled previously, with a minor change to the distance of the Camooweal Cup. The amended race program is:

- Post Office Hotel Camooweal Cup - Benchmark 60 Hcp - 1450m (previously 1400m) - $15,000
- Northern Rural Group - Benchmark 65 Hcp - 1200m - $10,000
- Miller & Hick Families - Benchmark 45 Hcp - 1000m - $10,000
- Class B Hcp - 1200m - $9,000
- Maiden Plt (3yo & up sw) - 1000m - $7,450 plus QTIS bonuses
