RACE TWO

AROONA (3) held the pocket trail from gate 1 here 2 starts back and with the economical trip was best of the chasers behind the dictating winner THE RAGNBONE MAN. From the 1x1 trail last start he could not get warm but finding a race here if able to tuck in not too far away, the tempo might just be right for him to sneak home.

CINDAROCKINRELLA (5) pressed ahead from gate 2 over the sprint trip 2 starts back and once in control held on to claim an easy 8m victory. Beaten into 3^rd placing last start by ARMA VEYRON, she has been beaten twice in her past 3 as an odds-on favourite but can again look to challenge.

ARMA VEYRON (6) fired out of the machine to look for an all the way win last start as a red figure fav. Grabbed late by COBBITTY CASTLE, she was a gritty winner from gate 5 here 3 starts back and can feature once again.

WHATELY (2) has been to the track 3 times since returning from a spell, the latest when forced to hang tough when parked out and not beaten too far. Firing the early bullets here can see him in the mix.

RACE THREE

DIGYOURHEELSIN (2) is on the back-up from Monday night where he powered home over the top to claim an effortless victory. The widening 14m margin was the first run since the filly transferred to the Col Godden team and with the improved gate, she can look for the back-to-back success.

PIPPA MAGUIRE (8) started in red figures here last week when having her 2^nd start since joining the Ron Sallis barn. Looking to take them all the way, she was nabbed late and had to settle for 3^rd. A move to the 2^nd line here makes it a little tougher but she can look to make a challenge.

SHAKATIE (9) has been runner-up at her past 2 starts, the latest when closing strongly over the latter stages when 3m from the passing lane winner CATCH PHRASE. With the right cart into the contest, she can chime in.

SPECIAL MEANING (5) was asked to do it the tough way last start when rolling forward to face he breeze and fought on soundly over the closing stages. Attacking the line hard the start prior from deep in the pack, he has podium claims here.

RACE FOUR

LIFES BLACK (1) may have some ordinary numbers next to his name, but he has clashed with some handy performers in recent outings which has not aided his cause. Only 6m away last start when stuck in traffic, the start prior he clashed with the smart looking DEUS EX. There does not look to be too much pressure which gives him the chance to capitalise.

AMILLION PROMISES (5) has a smart record here at The Triangle that shows 6 wins from 9 attempts, and he should take benefit from the fact he has started twice since returning from a spell. 6m from the stablemate ANOTHER STATEMENT last time out, he can look to throw down the challenge.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (3) found the poles from gate 5 last start and then with a slow speed through the opening half, the chasers were facing a task. Only a lip from the winner here 3 back, he can chime in.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (7) has the 2^nd line options here but should secure the nice easy trip in behind the speed. Wide off the track last start when down the line, she can be probing here.

RACE FIVE

MONTANA FLASH (3) tackled a strong Sat night 3YO event last tie out and after easing to the pegs for a cosy trip was sound to the line behind the gun CAPTAIN CRUSADER. Hitting the line strongly the start prior over the AP mile when searching for a hat-trick, he finds the right contest to make it 5 from 9 on this track.

REGINA ELENA (2) returns from a spell to step out for her first appearance as a 3YO. Last seen when leading them up before fading in a strong 2YO event back in December claimed by MANILA PLAYBOY, it followed successive wins from bad gates here at The Triangle. Opening the pipes in a recent trial hit out, she stays under watch.

MACH TORQUE (8) sat in the running line from this same gate last start and watched the action unfold before making the closing shot a winning one. With a similar trip she can make a play.

ALBION ARK (6) has no favours from the wide gate but might just find this a shade or 2 below what he has been facing of late. Charging home from deep in the pack when only 2m away last start, he can chime in again.

RACE SIX

COBBITY CASTLE (4) is yet to miss the board in 8 attempts here at The Triangle with 4 wins sitting alongside 4 minors. Searching for the hat-trick of wins here after grafting out a smart win when sent forward from the 2^nd line last start, this is not much tougher and the threepeat looks in reach.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (1) recaptured winning form here on Monday night when rolling forward from gate 4 to sit parked. Grinding it out and proving too strong in claiming a narrow victory, he should regain some confidence from the success. With an improved gate, he gets the chance to challenge.

ALLSTAR SEA (9) started from gate 3 last start when easing to secure position and then making a closing play to get within a head of the winner. Saved for a closing play, he can be chiming in.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (5) broke through for the prize last start from the 2^nd line when powering over the top of them in the closing stages. The gate stings but she can be thereabouts once again.

RACE SEVEN

NON PASSARE (1) started from inside the 2^nd line last start when eased off the poles into the running line. Making a closing play to get within a half-head of the winner, it followed a half-neck margin the start prior and 3 starts back he was too strong late. The gate gives him every opportunity to strike.

KATACHA MAN (9) has placed in his past 3 in succession, the most recent when asked to grind it out when parked and only a neck in arrears of the winner WHATTA GOOD REASON. Runner up from the pocket trail the start prior, the gate makes it tricky, but he is up to the task of challenging in this.

TYPHOON TORQUE (3) started from the 2n line last time when sent to the post as the fav and had to settle for the silver as HOLLYWOOD ROKKI arrived. Firing some early bullets, she can feature here.

WHATTA GOOD REASON (7) capitalised last start when sent straight to the front and once in control was able to hold on for victory by a head margin. Placed in both starts prior, he will be probing for openings.

RACE EIGHT

SLICK BLASTER (5) tackled a qualifier last start from gate 6 over the AP mile when retreating early to hope for some luck that did not arrive. Down the line behind the smart LIFE LAVROS the start prior, a drop to this grade looks suitable and despite the wide gate he can finish over the top of them.

ITS SUPEREASY (2) has been faced with 2^nd line draws at his past 2 starts, the latest when unable to warm up as the flying MAJORCA sailed home for the prize. His previous 2 were against tougher opponents than he faces here and at his best near the front lands the gate to make his challenge.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (9) was a winner here 2 starts back when securing the 1x1 trail from gate 5 before finishing best to claim the prize. Strong to the line last start, look for him swooping late.

SPORT MENTAL (6) has placed on the 3 occasions she has been to the track here at Redcliffe and should appreciate a return to this grade after her past 4 starts since winning a mares qualifier have been against tougher opponents.

RACE NINE

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1) eased from a wide gate at Marburg 3 starts back before hitting the line in nice style to claim victory. Making the most of a good alley to take them all the way here 2 starts back, the 2^nd line was her undoing last time. From the gate she gets her chance to dictate.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (7) was making a closing dive last start when finishing 1m in arrears of the winner FAVREAU to claim the bronze. Effective when saved for a closing shot along the inside, she looks set to receive the perfect conditions here and will be ready to fire the snipers shot.

BARBOO (4) has been in consistent form of late, hitting the board in 13 of his past 16 outings which includes 2 wins in his past 4 starts. Holding on for the bronze after sitting parked last start, he can be thereabouts once again.

PACIFIC COIN (8) lines up for hi 150^th outing of his career after his past 2 have been a little below par. Asked to do it the tough way 2 starts back, he placed in consecutive starts prior to that and should find this easier than recent assignments.

RACE ONE

SLIDE TO UNLOCK (2) placed in 6 of her 9 career starts as she looks for the maiden breaking success. Holding on for 3^rd behind the big winner CAPTAIN SHUFFLES last start, it followed a 2^nd to ANSONS BAY the starts prior. The depth is limited in this maiden, and she gets every chance to open the account.

VALKYRIE HANOVER (1) held the pocket trail last start but was unable to go on with it as the 2YO GOODTIME ROY was able to arrive for the prize. Midfield the start prior when trying to chase late behind REDUCED TO ASHES, this looks as a good a chance as any that she will get for a breakthrough.

FOUR SHIELDS (7) will have the 2^nd line options as the lone runner out the back here. Fitter from his latest start when 2^nd up from a long break, this is the right type of contest for him to feature in.

SWINGING GERORGE (3) has had just the 2 career starts, the latest when angled to the pegs for the cosy trip and finishing down the line behind MISS MAGDALENA. Settling handy can see him in the mix.
