RACE TWO

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1) eased from gate 6 last start to settle back in the pack before making up strong ground over the closing stages to grab 4^th. Three starts back from gate 1 he settled in the pocket trail when finishing just 4m from the subsequent winner IT AINT THE MONEY. Back to The Triangle from the good gate gives him every chance.

THE HERVEY BAY (3) pressed ahead from outside the front line over the AP mile two starts back and had to do the heavy lifting outside the leader. Grafting to the line, he held the silver behind ZHUKOV LEIS. Not suited from inside the second line last time, he can roll the sleeves to throw it down.

CHAMONIX (5) was first up in seven weeks last start from gate 7 over the AP mile when retreating early and then just too far back to feature. With close to four weeks since that run, the gate does him no favours.

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (8) secured the 1x1 trail from this same gate last start and with the right trip had the power to finish over the top. Building towards that win, he can trail through again here to feature.

RACE THREE

PARATROUPER (7) will be further tightened from his latest offering where he was third up from a spell. Sent to sit parked from the second line, he could not see it out over the AP 2138m as the in-form RING THE TILL claimed the prize. With the second line options, the tempo looks right.

MISTY CREEK (6) faces another tough gate and must step up in grade here but is a classy 3YO. Finishing top-two at his past four in succession, he was too strong when parked over this trip last start. Limiting the workload will be a big aid in his challenging chances.

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (1) was asked to graft it out when parked last start when tackling a qualifier and faded in the latter stages. He lands the options from the inside to feature.

MISSTREPO (3) was sent to the post as the fav last start from gate 2. Settling in the running line the race was controlled in front by OVERTHEMOON and she was left chasing. With even luck she can make a play.

RACE FOUR

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7) started from inside the second line last start over the AP mile and was trying to make a closing play when grabbing 2^nd to SIGNOR JUJON. Snagging back off a wide gate last start, he has been campaigning at headquarters in recent outings and with the cosy trip can arrive.

PACIFIC COIN (1) settled in the running line last start when closing out in nice order to grab the silver. His past three starts have been from the second line, and he comes up with the opportunity to hustle off the arm and keeping them wide can be gripping on in the stretch.

CIRCLE LINE (2) was sent forward from the second line to sit parked last start at Marburg and despite the tough trip was fighting on to hold 2^nd. Settling handy he can again be in the mix.

BETTING BARON (9) has been runner-up at four of his past five starts, the latest when sent to sit parked and holding on behind DOLLARBILL. With the chance of a cosy trip, he can chime in.

RACE FIVE

FEELING THE POWER (9) continued to be a source of frustration after nothing was going in his favour in several runs until it all fell into place here two starts back. Settling in the running line, he secured the ideal trip and had the finishing power to arrive. Not suited last start, look for him finishing over the top.

TULHURST LOVER (6) was sent forward from gate 5 last start to sit parked and despite the tough run, continued to give to the wire and worried the leader out of it to claim a narrow victory. The gate again does her no favours but possessing smart figures at this track can see her challenge.

ALLY PINK (1) tried to take them all the way last start from this same gate and after running even panels in front was rounded up but held ono for the bronze. From the gate she can podium again.

DEVELSTIX (2) has placed in seven of his nine here at The Triangle, the latest when doing it the tough way when parked but grafting out a 3^rd placing. From the good alley he can feature again here.

RACE SIX

SUNNY COVE (2) finally lands a marble after facing wide and second line gates as he continues to hone his racing manners. Striking trouble last start and out of business, he was picking off good metres here two starts back behind RAINBOW JET. Out in front he can look to keep them chasing.

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (7) was a winner here three starts back when firing off the arm to take control and holding on for a narrow victory. Sent forward from a wide gate last start to dictate, she could not see out the 2040m trip as MISTY CREEK claimed the prize. The second line options will help.

ROLLED IN GOLD (6) started from gate 2 here last week and allowed to float off the arm soon found herself at the rear of the pack. Making good ground over the closing stages to grab silver, the gate dents her hopes.

AUNTY FRANCES (1) has placed in three of her past five starts and lands the alley to secure a cosy run in behind the action. With the economical trip, she has podium claims.

PATCHWORK JET (3) has been in consistent touch of late, hitting the board at his past seven in succession. A beaten fav last start as A GOOD IDEAL controlled it in front, he was making late ground in grabbing the silver to starts back. He finds conditions here to capitalise.

ROCCO VARIETY (5) was sent to the front last start from gate 4 and the early burn took the toll, and he was unable to see it out. Midfield the start prior after fading in the closing stages, he should find this a shade or two below his recent efforts and can throw in a challenge.

WEASEL (1) settled in the running line from gate 2 last start and was chasing hard to grab the silver behind DARBY BRIGHTS. Likely to be locked away, he will be searching for the openings.

BLACKJEWEL (8) will be tightened from her latest outing when second up from a spell. Snagged back from a wide gate to look for the gaps up the inside, she can be chiming in here.

RACE EIGHT

MIKIYOURSOFINE (1) has placed on two of his six here at the Peninsula as he searches for the maiden breaking success. From the 1x1 trail last start, he could not go with them as ELLA UNDER FIRE claimed the prize and the start prior, he found MERIBEL out of reach. This looks suitable.

BROOKLYN RAINBOW (3) has now had two runs back from a break, the latest from inside the second line when buried in the run. Sent out as the favourite, she was unable to eat into the margin as THE CROM sailed home to take the prize. Fading out after leading when first up, she is in the mix.

BEARS BEST (7) is on the one-day back-up and comes up with the second line options. Setting the speed two starts back when 2^nd to SII SEMPRE TILLY, he can be finding the podium again here.

GOLDEN GRIN (2) took control soon after the start last time out and despite a steady run through the opening half was unable to see it out. From the good gate she can feature.

RACE ONE

RAINBOW JET (9) put together successive wins over the sprint trip and then when looking for the threepeat here two starts back was buried in the run and nothing went his way. Deserted by luck again last start when searching for openings that never arrived, a strong tempo will aid his cause.

MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (4) is in career best form and lines up here in search of 5 wins on the bounce. Never in danger last start taking control from gate 1, he took them all the way with a 3m margin. Powering home over the top from the second line two starts back, he will throw it down.

NINA SIMONE (3) has had a light season to date with just the three starts, the latest back on Feb 11 when buried from inside the second line. A tough 3^rd here three starts back, she can be handy.

ALTANA BLUE (5) started from the second line last start when settling in the running line before making a closing rally to get within a head of the winner. The wide gate stings his chances.
