Racing Queensland advises that GPS tracking of greyhounds will be tested at the Albion Park greyhound race meetings on Sunday June 5, Monday June 6, and Wednesday June 8, using the same tracking system that has been used extensively in Victoria and New South Wales.
Participants are advised that a small tracking disk will be inserted into the racing rugs of each greyhound for each race and will collect data such as movement and speed.
