The Quilpie Diggers' Race Club non-TAB race meeting on Saturday, November 5 has been rescheduled to be conducted by the Cunnamulla & District Diggers' Race Club.
More than 120mm of rainfall has been recorded at the Quilpie racetrack in the last week. As a result, sections of the track are submerged, and the Club advised they would not be in a position to provide a suitable racing surface.
This meeting was to feature qualifier races for both the Country Cups Challenge and Country Stampede series', which will still be conducted at the Cunnamulla race meeting.
Due to the rescheduling, there have been minor amendments to some of the starting distances. They are:
- Country Cups Challenge Qualifier Cunnamulla Cup (Quality Hcp) - 1400m - $12,500;
- Country Stampede Qualifier Open Hcp - 1000m - $12,500;
- Benchmark 55 Hcp - 1400m - $10,000;
- Benchmark 55 Hcp - 1000m - $10,000; and
- Maiden Plate (3YO and up, set weights) - 1200m - $10,000 plus QTIS.
