Racing Queensland advises that the Cairns Jockey Club meeting programmed for Tuesday, October 17, has been deleted from the schedule as a result of an extension of its track renovation and refurbishment period.
RQ has programmed additional races at non-TAB meetings within the region. They are:
Atherton Turf Club – Saturday, October 14
- Open Handicap - 1400m - $10,000
- Ratings Band 0-65 Handicap - 1200m - $10,000
Innisfail Turf Club – Saturday, October 21
- Benchmark 50 Handicap - 900m - $10,000
- QTIS Maiden Plate (SW) - 1200m - $10,000 plus QTIS bonuses
