Greyhound Program and Calendar Updates

Racing Queensland advises greyhound program changes for April 2024 and race calendar changes for May 2024.

 

Program Changes:

Ipswich Friday April 5

• 5^th Grade Heats 431m added

• Pathways 5^th Grade Heats 431m removed

Bundaberg Monday April 1

• The Easter Cup 460m will be a straight final with no heats

Bundaberg Monday April 8

• 0-3 Wins 531m added

• 4^th/5^th Grade 531m added

• 5^th Grade 531m removed

Race Calendar Changes:

Ipswich meetings between May 10 and May 23 have been transferred to other venues due to the Ipswich Show as follows:

• Friday May 10 (Day) – Albion Park

• Saturday May 11 (Night) – Rockhampton

• Tuesday May 14 (Night) – Albion Park

• Friday May 17 (Twilight) – Albion Park

• Saturday May 18 (Night) – Rockhampton

• Tuesday May 21 (Night) – Albion Park

• Thursday May 23 (Day) – Capalaba

To accommodate these changes, Townsville will race in the twilight on Friday May 10, Tuesday May 14, and Tuesday May 21.

Furthermore, the Rockhampton meeting for Wednesday night May 29 as been transferred to Thursday night May 30 to accommodate a feature race series in Harness Racing at Redcliffe.
