Cuddles For Kimmy is named after Kim Webster, wife of breeder Murray Webster, who runs Hopetoun Farm outside Toowoomba and is trained by Kylie and Corey Geran.
Corey Geran was full of praise for Cuddles For Kimmy’s win and is hopeful she can maintain her unbeaten record.
“It was a great ride from Cody Collis after she was boxed in on the fence and it was pretty scary at the time as I thought she wouldn’t win,” Corey said.
“I was confident before the race she could win but I was always a bit hesitant as a lot of things can go wrong with two-year-olds.
