Under CRP Round 2 the Chinchilla Race Club were successful in obtaining funding for new 12 Stall Simtrack Starting barriers and a trailer, that is being shared amongst clubs located within the Eastern Downs region and will be based out of the Chinchilla Race Club.

RQ and the club worked collaboratively together to create an agreement for the shared use of the barriers, the agreement will be available to all clubs as a template for clubs to use when looking to share equipment in the future.

The barriers were assembled in November 2020 and the trailer was delivered to the club in December 2021. Training was provided by Simtrack to all clubs under the agreement in Early May 2021. The first use of the barriers outside of the Chinchilla RC under the shared agreement was by Burrandowan RC on 8 May 2021 and has been used multiple times since.
