After considering Mr Turner’s explanation, Stewards permitted GO MILLO to start in race 2 however, Mr Turner was reminded of his obligations under LR40(a).

Stewards accepted Trainer A. Campton’s explanation for the late scratching of dual acceptor KAREEM.

Race 1: TAB WE'RE ON MAIDEN PLATE 1900M

FRANKEL MOON – Raced three-wide from the 1000m. Jockey B. Lerena reported his mount was not suited by the slow tempo in today’s race and when the pace of the race quickened from the 700m, the gelding did not respond to his riding and proved disappointing.

GLENRAY'S MATE – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
