RACE 1: SPRINGFIELD PANTHERS RLFC QTIS 2YO MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M

HEAPS GOOD – Severely crowded at the start. Raced wide from the 600m and then hung out on the home turn.

MAGNITUDE LAD – Raced three wide without cover.

SIDERE – Jumped awkwardly.

CLUTCH – Hampered near the 900m.

STRYKING STUNNAH – Raced three wide throughout.

RACE 2: IPSWICH JETS LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN PLATE – 2150M

MAKAS KING RULER – Checked and shifted out after the 1200m due to the pace steadying.

CAPTAIN ADRIATIC – Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

COSMIC GIGGLE – Overraced in the early and middle stages.

GRAVITY FORCE – Raced wide on the first turn when overracing and was then allowed to stride forward and cross to the lead.


RACE 3: STRUDDYS SPORTS CLASS 6 PLATE – 1200M

BEAUFORT GYRE – Bumped on the home turn.

KNIGHT TEMPLAR – Overraced and hung out in the early and middle stages.

APPLE THIEF – Slow into stride.

RACE 4: WIZARDS CONCRETING SPRINGFIELD PANTHERS BM75 H’CAP – 1350M

FASTA THAN LIGHT – Raced three wide without cover.

BULLITT COUNTY – Laid in rounding the home turn and then was awkwardly placed close to heels in the early part of the straight.

CALEDONIA'S CALL – Slow to begin.

Following the running of this race the track was upgraded to GOOD 3.

As C. Schmidt was stood down by the paramedics following her ride in Race 4, riding replacements were made as per the Stewards Race Day Summary. C. Schmidt was advised that she will be required to produce a medical clearance prior to resuming riding.

RACE 5: BROTHERS IPSWICH MAIDEN PLATE – 1350M

FINAL RUN – Laid in under pressure in the straight.

GIRLS SAY – Had difficulty securing clear running in the straight.

LUCKY THREE SEVENS – Raced three wide throughout.

RED COMANDA – Raced three wide in the early stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be suffering mild heat stress and to be tying up.

ARASENTA – Began awkwardly, then bumped heavily.

KEEP THE RHYTHM – Raced three wide throughout.

RACE 6: SOUTH EAST QLD RUGBY LEAGUE DIVISION QTIS 3YO BM75 H’CAP – 1350M

No racing incidents.

RACE 7: LAIDLEY LIONS RUGBY LEAGUE INAUGURAL CLASS 3 H’CAP – 1000M

MY LITTLE FLICKA – Raced three wide without cover throughout. Lost the near hind plate in running.

ROYAL PHYSICIAN – Slow to begin.

PEZENAS – Lost the off fore plate in running.

ALL OUR WIVES – Raced wide in the early stages before being ridden forward to eventually race outside the lead.

RACE 8: IPSWICH SENIOR RUGBY LEAGUE CLASS 3 PLATE – 1666M

As J. Morris failed to fulfil his engagement, A. Spinks was substituted as the rider of ADIZERO. J. Morris was fined $200.

The start was delayed when WHO'S THAT CAT proved difficult to load. A warning was placed against the gelding.

KENTAUR – Slow to begin.

TORBAY – Hung in in the straight.

WHO'S THAT CAT – Slow to begin. P. Romeo was fined $100 for using the whip more than times prior to the 100m.

O'LYNCH – Trainer J. Petersen reported that the gelding pulled up sore in the near foreleg and it is now his intention to send the horse for a spell.

ADIZERO – Had to be steadied when crowded slightly whilst weakening near the 300m.

COCKTAIL THONG – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
